About MYVA
How long have you been operating?
MeetYourVA was founded in 2021 by Nayan Naik. We've served 700+ businesses to date, with a current portfolio of approximately 60 active accounts. Our team is structured into two delivery pods, each managed by a dedicated Account Manager, with senior oversight from our Key Account Manager and Project Manager.
Do you work with specific industries?
We're industry-agnostic in principle, but our client base concentrates in a few segments. Roughly 70% of our clients are coaches and consultants. The remaining 30% are spread across digital marketers, agency owners, financial professionals, and podcasters.
The VAs
What's the quality of your VAs?
Every MYVA virtual assistant is university-educated and English-proficient. We don't hire newbies. Every VA on our bench has prior client experience that we verify through portfolio and reference checks before they're matched to a client. We hire fewer than 1% of applicants.
Where are the VAs from?
We source VAs primarily from the Philippines, with some from Africa. They work in US time zones (Eastern or Pacific shifts), managed by our New York-based ops team. The benchmark we beat: Fiverr and Upwork freelancers without consistent oversight or replacement guarantees.
What exactly can a VA do?
We hire VAs by specialty, not as generalists. Our most common roles:
- Generic Virtual Assistant: admin, calendar management, inbox, project coordination
- Podcast VA: editing, clipping, distribution, social posting
- Social Media VA: content scheduling, engagement, Canva graphics
- Outbound / Lead Gen VA: cold outreach, CRM hygiene, follow-up

How do I pick my VA?
After we receive your application and onboarding survey, your assigned Account Manager (Paul or Francesca, depending on the pod) reviews candidates from our VA pool and presents 2 to 3 portfolios matched to your requirements. You review the portfolios, interview the candidates on a call, and pick the VA you want to work with. If you want to test before committing, we can run a paid test task with a 48-hour turnaround.
What if the VA isn't a good fit?
Your Account Manager handles the replacement. 48-hour turnaround, no extra charge. Your backup VA covers priority tasks during the transition so client work doesn't stop. You don't pay for a VA who isn't producing.
How can I share passwords with my VA securely?
Two paths. Option one: you share credentials directly. Option two (recommended): we use a password manager like LastPass or Dashlane for credential sharing. Either way, every VA signs an NDA before they touch your accounts. Your information is protected by our contract, which explicitly limits its use to project work only.
How do I give secure access to my accounts overall?
Three layers of security. Password management through LastPass or 1Password. NDAs signed by every VA before account access. Role-based permissions on every platform, so the VA gets only what they need to do the work. VPN required for client-account work. Your content and your accounts stay yours.
Working together
Is there a minimum number of hours for VAs?
Yes. Our minimum engagement is 20 hours per week. This protects both sides: enough hours for the VA to build real context on your business, enough work for you to actually feel the leverage.
Is there a long-term contract? Can I cancel?
No long-term lock-in. We operate month-to-month. You can pause your engagement with 4 to 5 days notice. Your account stays warm during a pause, and when you're ready to resume, we can restart you with the same VA (or a fresh match if needed).
What is the $100 service fee for?
A $100 deposit at sign-up confirms you're committed to starting. It's fully refundable if we can't find a VA match for you, and it's credited to your first invoice if we proceed. Effectively $0 once you start.
How much of my own time will managing a VA take?
15 to 30 minutes per week of direction from you. Your Account Manager handles everything else: VA performance management, daily updates, monthly reviews, replacements when needed. You set direction, the AM runs the operation.
How does billing work?
Bi-weekly billing on the 15th and the last day of each month. VA time is tracked. No surprise charges. No invoices to chase. You're billed for the hours contracted plus any approved scope expansions you sign off on.
Do you offer any discounts?

Specific services (lead gen, training)
How does your lead generation service work?
Our lead gen VAs run organic outbound. They engage and nurture qualified leads through tested scripting. By profile-screening before they reach out, the VA filters for people who match your offer and have the means to invest. Once qualified, the VA uses our tested scripts to engage and book the prospect onto your calendar.
How many leads do you typically generate?
Initial expectation-setting: roughly one qualified lead every other day, up to one per day, for the first 2 to 4 weeks. This is the warming-up period for the accounts and the script testing window. Once we've found what's working, the volume scales. Our top performers consistently book 2 to 4 qualified appointments per day.
Who handles the training for the VA?
We do. Our VAs come pre-trained on standards and tooling. For your specific business, we run an onboarding process where any existing training materials, SOPs, or recorded walkthroughs you have get handed to us and we transition them to the VA. We also provide ongoing training and support for any updates or changes in your space.
