🔎Social media has become an essential part of modern life. It’s used by billions of people daily, from talking about their daily lives to posting about politics and current events. It has also become a powerful platform for businesses to advertise themselves, reach new customers, and interact with existing ones.

📣 1. Take advantage of the full suite of features on each platform. The best way to get started with your social media marketing is to take advantage of each platform’s full suite of features.
For example, Facebook offers various options for posting and sharing content. You can post photos, videos, links, and status updates. You can also create ads that promote your business to Facebook’s millions of users.
Twitter has a similar range of options when it comes to sharing content. You can post photos, videos, and links, write short messages that are limited to 140 characters — known as tweets — or make longer posts on Twitter’s website or mobile app.

Pinterest lets you pin any image from anywhere online onto boards you create yourself or follow other people’s boards. It’s a great way to share recipes and other visual content with your followers.

LinkedIn offers two different ways to use its platform: LinkedIn Groups, where you can discuss topics relevant to your industry or niche, and LinkedIn Pulse, which allows users to publish long-form articles on the platform.

📣 2. Be consistent with posting times. Consistency is key to building a following on social media. It can be not very clear for your fans if you’re constantly changing your posting times or days. If you have time to post every three hours, that’s great! If not, try to post at least once per day. Try to stay consistent with the timing of your posts for at least two weeks before making any changes. This will allow you to see which times get the best response from your audience and help you determine when they’re most likely to engage with your content.

📣 3. Engage with people who share your content. Engagement is the key to brand loyalty. If your customers engage with your brand, they will likely buy from you again.
The best way to engage with people who share your content is to find and engage with them.
The good news is that most social media platforms make it easy for you to do this.
LinkedIn makes it easy to see who has shared your content by showing all the people who have shared any of the articles in the feed section on their homepage. You can also search for specific people by name or company name and find them in search results.

📣 4. Use different types of content depending on the platform. You may think the content you create for your blog or website should be the same as what you post on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. But that’s not true.
While both forms of content can help build your brand online, they require different writing and visual design types to succeed.

📣 5. Don’t forget about the video. Many companies are still at the beginning of their video marketing journey. They’ve created a few videos and published them on their website, but they aren’t sure how to get more views and engagement.
The answer is simple: Get your videos in front of people who are likely to watch them. And one of the best ways to do that is with Facebook advertising.
