When leads start coming to your DM for you to coach them on their business problems, you have a lot to do. What will you do?

Well, here’s what we think…

Create an email list- You may have heard that building an email list is one of the most important things you can do to grow your business.

An email list gives you a direct line of communication with your customers — it’s the most powerful way to reach them and deliver information that will help them buy from you repeatedly. Plus, when someone signs up for your email list, they are giving you permission to communicate with them directly — which means that you can target specific products and services to suit their needs.

Email marketing is also more cost-effective than other forms of advertising because it doesn’t require a large ad budget or significant time investment from you or your team. The best part? You don’t need any technical skills or special software to get started!

How do you do this?

First, create an account with an email organizing tool like a convert kit. They also provide places to create landing pages.- With ConvertKit, you can create a separate landing page for each campaign. You can also embed the landing page into your email or link it to your website.

Once logged in, click the “Create a new list” button and give your list a name like “Sign up for info about our new store.” Then click the “Create List” button.

Then you create a lead magnet. It could be a free valuable resource that can bring results.- A lead magnet can be given away in exchange for contact information.

You can use a lead magnet to attract new leads, build your email list and increase your sales.

A lead magnet can be an ebook, a checklist, a cheat sheet, or anything else people want.

For example, if you sell content marketing services, you could create a free ebook on writing great headlines or creating killer sales pages.

Once you’ve created your lead magnet, you should promote it as much as possible to get people to download it.

For your audience to access this, they’ll have to input their email to get it there.- If you’re creating a lead magnet that you want people to sign up for, make sure you have a clear call to action. For example, you might say, “Enter your email address below to get my free guide on how to use Twitter as a small business.”

This makes it easy for them to sign up without having to navigate away from your blog post. And if they do leave, they can always come back and enter their information later.

Bam!

You start sending them your newsletters via email. PS: Never spam your subscribers. Give disclaimers, too, like how many times you’ll email them. Then…- You start sending them your newsletters via email.

You can use MailChimp or Constant Contact to send newsletters, but these services are excellent for personal use and small companies. If you are in the business of sending out hundreds of emails every day, it’s better to have your mail server.

In this case, you need to install Postfix, an open-source mail transfer agent (MTA), on your server. It will handle all incoming and outgoing email messages.

Once Postfix is installed, you can configure it to send out newsletters using a tool called Sendmail.

Then you’re doing a good job, but…
